There are so-called emotional pounds that are not due to a bad diet. And to make them disappear there are very precise methods

Sometimes, even with a correct diet and good physical activity, our weight stagnates or worse yet the number on the scale increases. This is due to what are called emotional pounds.

Perhaps surprising to some, but diet and physical inactivity are not the only factors of unwanted weight gain , emotions are also partly responsible.

Shivani also specifies that this can also be the case for positive emotions: “We have been used to what love comes through food . Suddenly, it goes without saying: whenever we are well, we will eat ”.

In these two cases, food is perceived as a comfort which allows, in one case to calm negative emotions, and in the other to maintain a state of contentment.

 

WOMEN ARE THE MOST AFFECTED BY EMOTIONAL WEIGHT GAIN


The nutritionist also said that women were most affected by this phenomenon of emotional pounds . “What I have observed is that women are more affected than men. Undoubtedly because, for various reasons - educational, societal and perhaps hormonal -, women, even today, react by taking on themselves, by holding back when they are badly. Suddenly, they somatize more, and will have more tendency to gain emotional pounds, ”Best Dietician in South Delhi says..
